- Clean skin.
- Use 1-2 drops in the night.
- Gently apply a pea-sized amount and pat into the face and neck.
- Follow with preferred moisturiser.
- If you’re new to acids, start with 2-3 times per week and build up your own skin’s tolerance.
- As this product is exfoliating, avoid using at the same time as AHAs (Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Apple Cider Vinegar or Mandelic Acid), BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acid or C-50 Blemish Treatment), PHA Toner, Vitamin C or Retinol. Use on alternate nights.

Really enjoy this product! I've repurchased it something like 6x times now. Maybe more. It gets me through at least a month and a half each bottle, and maybe up to 3 months?
It's affordable, it feels amazing, it helps soothe your skin, and helps repair and clear up your skin. It absorbs really well. It's one of the few products I use almost every day (unless I'm in a rush, and even then, I tend to use this over the rest of my routine.) I'm not sure if it's "brightened" my skin, but it's definitely helped with the moisture and keeping my skin clear.

Keeps my Rosacea at bay and lasts a LONG time!
I have now been using it for 10 months, and I am about to order my 2nd bottle - yes, the 1 bottle lasted 10 months! I only use it on my "rosacea" areas such as nose and chin, and it keeps my rosacea at bay. I can tell whenever I stop or forget, the redness and small spots creep back in to my life slowly, but within 2 days of using this again, I am back to clean fresh skin. I think it's definitely worth the price for that. the 10% seems to be the right dosage for me, I have tried smaller and larger amounts with less success. 4% doesn't touch it, and higher makes my skin sensitive. It's not sticky and I can apply my usual face cream (AZ cream) straight afterwards, very lightweight!

One of my staple serums!
Azelaic acid is a must-have in my daily skincare routine, and this serum from Cos De BAHA has been one of my favorites for years. It has a lightweight consistency, absorbs well, and doesn't feel greasy at all.
It works especially well whenever I get hormonal breakouts and has helped keep my skin looking clearer and brighter over time. I've also noticed a significant improvement in my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), with dark marks fading much faster.

Gentle with gradual effect on PIH
I developed PIH after trying out laser treatment for skin tags and milia (never again!!). Read up quite a lot about it and although I do use OTC retinol regularly, I did not want to risk irritating my skin barrier further. I have tried Azelaic acid from a different brand previously in my 20s with very good effect (used to have acne and scarring from that), so I know it works, but it's difficult to get that brand here and this is significantly cheaper so I thought I'll just try it out.
Have used azelaic for just over 3 weeks now. The dark spots are still there but I have seen improvement with gradual lightening from almost black to more light-medium brown. Considering that the prescription dose is double the strength, I think that's pretty good, especially as I had no side effects more common to prescription creams like drying, redness, itching or peeling. It's combined with hyaluronic and niacinamide. Started adding tranexamic acid from the same brand to boost its effect with no problems whatsoever. Hopefully, with regular use, I can go back to not wearing makeup again. -

Unexplained red, dry, flaking skin.
I had a red, sore extremely dry patch form out of nowhere on my face and stayed for over a year. Doctors tried many steroid creams, even took a biopsy. Nothing worked and it came back as skin inflammation and then told me theres nothing they can do and just hope it goes on its own. I ended up googling and Azelaic acid was recommended and this works! The patch is not dry or flaking anymore, the reddness is very faint and i now feel like myself again. Been using it for nearly a year now but i saw results within just days. Great product for Rosacea
I wouldn't pay much attention to the negative reviews, they don't understand Rosacea and how it occurs. Firstly this oil does leave residue simply because Azelaic Acid is a powder and after it dries you will need to apply your normal moisturizer. Some reviewers say that their condition gets worse, this is a clear indication it is working because Azelaic Acid kills Demodex mites one of the causes of Rosecea and when they die they decompose to fluid and release toxins causing the redness. The oil absorbs quickly and it may sting after application for a while, this is normal on all skin types and subsides after 30 minutes or so.
